Enables the exchange of ideas, know-how among participants from different countries, promotes critical thinking among students and raise the awareness of the important link between urban architecture and public sculpture as well as the responsibility of placing sculptures within urban city surroundings;
Gives a practical insight into theoretical contents usually taught in classrooms, improve students’ knowledge of how arts really work in urban surroundings;
Develops and foster the cooperation among participating institutions and their towns.
The project Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad is designed as an attempt of artists and students of art to tackle the issue of irresponsible urban design. The case study will focus on the problem of public sculptures in Novi Sad, which not only have poor aesthetic values, but also are poorly positioned within city.
