On Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the premises of the Academy of Arts there was a promotion of the publication "Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad". Present media representatives expressed a lot of interest in the topic of the project and the current situation regarding this very up-to-date issue of placing public sculptures in the surfaces of Novi Sad.

We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition within the project „Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad“ in the gallery SKC Fabrika on Tuesday, October 14 at 19:00. There you will have the opportunity to see the works of teachers and students of academies of arts from Poznan (Poland), Pecs (Hungary), Banska Bystrica (Slovakia) and Novi Sad (Serbia), who are also the participants of the workshop within this project. The displayed art works represent the critical analysis and a creative response of these young artists to the present situation when the problem public sculpture and public space in Novi Sad is concerned. „Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad“ is a project coordinated by the Academy of Arts Novi Sad, Serbia and financed by International Visegrad Fund, Bratislava, Slovak republic. The project is designed as an attempt of artists and students of art to tackle the issue of irresponsible urban design. The case study focuses on the problem of public sculptures in Novi Sad, which not only have poor aesthetic values, but also are poorly positioned within city.
The workshop within the project „Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad“ will be held from Thursday, October 9 until Wednesday, October 15 2014 at different locations in Novi Sad. Considering a great interest in our project, part of the workshop will be open to the public. Attached you will find the timetable of all the activities within the Novi Sad workshop.
