BIZARRE LOVE TRIANGLE. THE PUBLIC SCULPTURES OF NOVI SAD

The project Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad is designed  as a joint platform of students and lecturers from art academies in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia. The aim of the project is to analise the recent developments in the sculpture scene of Novi Sad while developing critical thinking skills among the participating young artists. They will investigate the relationship between urban architecture and public sculpture as well as the process of urban planning in the case of Novi Sad. This will enable them to create a critical overview of the artistic accomplishments during the last twenty years when the development of the city public sculptures is concerned. Gathering young artists from different countries in one team will not only boost interaction, exchange of ideas and creativity, but will also improve their knowledge of art and culture, theory of art and the importance of artists’ communication with the public spaces of a city.
