The project aims to explore the relationship between the urban architecture and public sculpture present in certain areas of Novi Sad in the framework of V4 examples and experiences. It explores the system of urban planning with a critical overview of sculptures and art works in the last twenty years. By gathering young artists in the field of fine arts from V4 countries and their Serbian colleagues and linking their ideas with the experiences of independent experts in the field, the project will put an added value to the issue of placing the public sculptures in Novi Sad.
The idea behind the project is to build a network of young artists from V4 countries and Serbia including the experts in the field public sculpturing in order to raise awareness of the issue of placing the public sculptures in Novi Sad.
The project Bizarre Love Triangle. The Public Sculptures of Novi Sad is designed as an attempt of artists and students of art to tackle the issue of irresponsible urban design. The case study will focus on the problem of public sculptures in Novi Sad, which not only have poor aesthetic values, but also are poorly positioned within city.
