BIZARRE LOVE TRIANGLE. THE PUBLIC SCULPTURES OF NOVI SAD

EXHIBITION

The mentioned workshop implies introducing the participants with the problem of placing the public sculptures within the city of Novi Sad, the set of accompanying lectures (the lecturers are independent experts in the field of art theory) which will create the platform for further action and provoke critical thinking among all the participants of the project. The participants will give their own artistic input in the mentioned topic as their interpretation of the situation they found in Novi Sad through the use of all media – both traditional and new. The number of works and techniques are optional. The participants may even submit written articles/papers about their research findings written from the perspective of a young artist. Upon the completion of the workshop, the exhibition of the participants’ works (their “research results”) will be set in SKC Fabrika Gallery in Novi Sad.

PUBLICATION

Following the workshop and the exhibition, all the participants’ works (practical, theoretical including all the lectures) will be published in a catalogue/publication representing a complex analysis of the related case study aiming at a much wider audience – local, regional and international. In other words, the idea behind this project is to create a direct dialogue of experience and practice between V4 countries (also EU countries) and Serbia.
